The super Poncho

You may have recently seen my post about the Anna Jacket? If not here it is…http://mummyandhermini.com/2017/07/5-ways-to-wear-the-anna-jacket/

Well I have been back in touch with Nikki and we are now working on a few easy to wear, throw on mummy pieces. We all know having something in your wardrobe that you can go back to for multiple outfits is a godsend, so when she introduced me to the Ponchos I instantly knew how handy it was going to be. It is a cashmere blend and so reasonably priced, so great for anyone. I cannot tell you how unbelievably soft and cosy it is! I have lived in it whilst the weather has been on the turn, it folds up nice and compact so can slip in your bag and is the perfect size to give you that extra little coverage you need if it goes chilly! I literally cannot wait for it to get colder and I can throw it on over a jumper too! ahhhh

So a little bit about Nikki and her ponchos…

Nikki started working with her ponchos as her way of introducing colour into peoples wardrobe. Showing them which colour suited their skin tone by wearing the poncho over something they’d normally put on, but giving it the lift it needed. She didn’t feel the ‘old’ colour consultants way of layering scarves over you worked and wanted to bring something new and fresh and much more practical. She would team this with some personal shopping, for those ladies who really didn’t know how to dress their body shape and skin tones. Nikki found people really clicked with the poncho idea and they are now a key piece in her line.

We have worked on a few ways to style it, so whether its a chilly summers day and you just need that extra little layer, or a cooler evening whilst out with friends, all the way into winter teaming it with scarves and jewellery.

Keep your eyes peeled for another post come autumn, about different items and styles Nikki has to wear it with.
