As you may know we have been weaning our little pudding for nearly 4 months already now, so when we were asked to review some weaning products from Tommee Tippee I jumped at the chance.
We were sent the cool and mash weaning bowl, A packet of weaning spoons, A 360 training beaker and two pop up weaning pots.
The 360 beaker is so clever. With a little one who hadn’t really ever taken a bottle this was going to be a brilliant little beaker to help train him to drink from a cup. The lid slightly pushes in when they press their lips and nose against it and then the water is easily released. Bo hasn’t quite got the hang of it and had covered himself in water on a few occasions, but its great that he can lift it up and just drink from anywhere. He doesn’t have to try and find a teat.
The cool a mash weaning bowl has been brilliant. Comes with a spoon that attaches under the lid that keeps it clean. It’s also a brilliant size, we’ve taken it out on lots of occasions now as it fits in my bag easily and holds enough food for my hungry little boy. We haven’t yet had to really use the mashing part yet, but I can imagine its going to come in handy now he’s starting with more lumpy food.
The spoons and the pop up pots have of course been well used. The handles on the spoons are a little thicker at the end so really easy for little hands to hold onto. I tend to feed him myself with a spoon and then give him one to do himself too, he likes to get involved and practicing bowl to mouth is good for him. They are lovely and colourful too so great to keep his attention.
We have stored all sorts in the pop up pots. They freeze really well and like they say literally just pop the food out. They also hold so much in them, so I’ve managed to store loads of blended fruit and veg and then just take the pot out with me ready to eat.
I was so pleased with everything and they have definitely helped us with our weaning journey. I would highly recommend all of the products.
