We’ve just recently been sent a lovely little box full of goodies including some of Bepanthens nappy cream. Nappy cream isn’t something we have used regularly as Bodies bottom has always been fine…until this week when I noticed on a couple of occasions its been a little redder than normal. It may be because he’s really into his foods now and therefore his poops have changed a little and it also may be the fact that I think his teething issues have stepped up a little!
So we’ve been applying nappy cream a little more regularly and especially at night time. It’s been really lovely to swap out the thick cream (major brand) which we would always use at bedtime, for a smoother but still a great barrier cream. Bepanthen is that cream. It’s super easy to apply and a small amount really does go a long way. It isn’t super sticky and cover your fingers and nails in a white residue after applying and it seems to last really well too. Bodie normally gets ready for bed around 6.30pm (when the cream is applied) and doesn’t have his nappy changed until at least 1/2am and when I change him you can just about tell that there’s a little bit of cream left. The redness has always settled in the morning and a couple of applications during the day seems to be doing the trick.
The bottles we were sent are a great size and easily fit in our change bag, and like I said a little goes a long way so you wouldn’t be running out anytime soon!
I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a strong barrier cream but don’t want the white sticky issues known with other leading brands! Bepanthen have really got a great product!
Some of the other items we were sent…
A gorgeous candle from John Lewis (still to light as it’s become a little special)
A bath bomb which will be used when I finally get to bathe alone (without children) ha
And some rather posh choccys, which we are saving for Christmas!
Disclosure – These items were sent to me for this review. However in no way have my opinions been influenced.
