Our Happyology review

So just recently we had the pleasure of reviewing some of Happyologys beautiful clothes. We came across this brand on Facebook, through another bloggers page and instantly I knew I’d find bits for Betsie and baby boy. Everything is so gorgeous.

They are a contemporary British luxury kids wear brand born in the beautiful and artistic city of Brighton, UK. They feature super soft cotton jerseys to textured linens and cosy cashmere, only the best fabrics of natural origin are used in their products, making them the perfect second skin for your little ones. They truly have some beautiful unique designs and styles, using traditional features and techniques. This is something that caught my eye immediately.

We were sent a little dress and jacket (cardigan) for Betsie and a velour onesie with matching hat for baby boy..I can’t wait for him to arrive and fit in it, it’s so lovely.

From their packaging to the products they do not shy away from super loveliness. I was so pleasantly surprised with my little card in the box wishing me luck with the baby etc…you know it’s the little things that make such a difference. Inside the box the clothes were neatly folded in a Happyology cloth bag, wrapped in tissue paper and because I didn’t know which items we were going to receive opening it all up was like unwrapping a Christmas present or something. I was so pleased with them.

So Betsies dress:

It’s an ivory super soft cotton/jersey dress with puff ball skirt. You can see the front and the sleeves have some really sweet subtle details and then the skirt part is patterned with pale blue, pink and beige raspberry shapes. It’s unbelievably soft and she literally couldn’t wait to get it on after school. It was also the most perfect day for it, because it has long sleeves it’s perfect to warm up with tights or just wear with socks, for our interesting spring weather we’re having. It’s aged 3-4 and the fit was perfect, I’d say she’s got plenty of room in it to wear it through summer and into September.

Her jacket/cardigan:

This is ace, its a real mix between a light jacket and a thick cardi. It’s almost denim, but still has that super soft cotton jersey texture. She’s worn it a couple of times now over a long sleeve top teamed with colourful leggings and it’s one of those things that just work with everything. I love the little detailing along the seams of the pockets and buttons, it really makes it stand out, It’s also lined with the same print. This is also aged 3-4, and has some good growth room in, so I’m hoping she’ll be able to wear it right through to October time.

(I have taken some lovely pictures of her in this but wordpress won’t upload them!!)

Baby boys hat and onesie:

The softest velour grey all in one. I’ve always loved a baby in velour, they just look so super snuggley. I must also say that the clever person who chose to send me this picked the perfect size as it’s going to fit when the cooler summer air comes in and he can appreciate being in velour. There aren’t too many appliqués on the front which I always think keeps it really babyish, but enough to make it stand out and make it a little bit more of an outfit, teamed with the hat especially. I can’t wait to see him in it and show you all! For now it’s safely folded away in his draw.
