September has brought us some gorgeous weather which can only mean one thing to a photographers eye…Beautiful photographs. We are very lucky to live so close to The Edge as there are so many fantastic picture opportunities within the woods and up at the edge.
I took my big girl up one afternoon and we just sat together playing in the sunshine. I obviously had to take my ‘big’ camera as it was one of those lovely sunny afternoons. I absolutely love the photos I got and cannot wait to blow a couple of them up for the house.
My little adventurer exploring the caves
She found a little stick and used it as a magical digging wand
I love the colours and her expressions in these two photos. I’m not too sure what was so funny!
Can you believe we live at the bottom of this…how lucky!
I couldn’t help but do it all again, this time we took Daddy on our adventure too. We walked along the paths hunting for conkers and fir cones, then we sat in a lovely warm patch of sunshine on our picnic blanket whilst you played with a little friend you made. It was very sweet watching you both play and find things for her little ‘finding’ bag.
My beautiful little lady looking all grown up
I think these will be amongst some of my most favourite photos ever, not only because they are beautiful but they will also remind me of what a gorgeous place we live in and how special just lying there enjoying the September sunshine, holding hands with our eyes closed was.
The little things.
