I came across this fantastic idea on WhoWhatWear on Facebook…Olivia Palermo wears it so well, but it gave me an idea for a more relaxed version. She really has fantastic fashion, and because she wears some high street clothing it makes it more ‘real’ to wear a similar look yourself.
This particular look was a maxi skirt worn as a dress…so easy, so simple, so comfortable!
Thank you Olivia…
As I was only going in the car for a journey to Wrexham Hospital I needed something comfortable and cool, so I wore my lightweight jersey maxi skirt from H&M, with a grey cardigan that I just love. I’ve had this for 5years and it’s a little tatty but there is just nothing out there that I can replace it with. It’s such an easy shape, goes with everything and is warm but light. I synched these in with a vintage navy belt, as I looked a little sack like without it.
My jewellery I kept simple. I don’t really have the time to accessorise in the morning and it’s not really super practical with a little one, I’m already conscious that my watch sticks in her bottom when I’m carrying her. Necklace is Posh Totty and rings were from Waltons in Chester, both beautiful presents that I don’t ever take off!
